PhilHealth recently announced several new benefits, including a 50% increase in case rates for select conditions, improved packages for heart ailments, and expanded outpatient services. These changes, though significant, are only part of the commitments Lee advocated for during the heated budget deliberations with the Department of Health (DOH) last year.
