Lee criticized the slow pace of expanding PhilHealth benefits, particularly the non-inclusion of costly treatments like MRI and PET scans. Despite PhilHealth’s massive P500 billion fund, Lee pointed out that essential healthcare services remain out of reach for many Filipinos.

“Napakalaking kasalanan ang pagtengga ng pondo para sa kalusugan,” Lee said, demanding more efficient use of the state insurer’s resources.
